Driving traffic traffic to online articles and videos requires following several different marketing techniques and there are easy Hubpage promotion strategies that have an immediate impact to the amount of traffic a web page gets. The best thing is that it is possible to do them all in less then 10 minutes. Most of these sites have a Google Chrome extension which is certainly needed in order to help speed up the process of submitting your Hubpage link. In order to develop a long lasting presence in the search engines you will need to engage with other sites, but I make it a goal immediately after posting a hub to go through the process of submitting the link to each of these sites to get the ball rolling.

Click thumbnail to view full-sizeArticle Pinger - New Addition to List
A new addition to my list of super easy to use websites for quick hub promotion is Article Pinger. This website requires a basic sign up to get an account, which is free and then you can submit your hubpage which takes just a few seconds and then Article Pinger will be helping promote your blog post or in this case hubpage. Type in the name which you can copy and paste from the title, drop in your hub summary and link and hit submit to ping your page.
Facebook and Twitter - The big 2
Facebook and Twitter are the two big social networks that hubpages itself encourages you to promote your hubs with. Everytime you post a new hub a box appears with the hub URL, a short link for your hub and the icons for both twitter and facebook. These two sites help you drive traffic directly to people that are interested in what you are creating. While facebook tends to be a collection of family and friends for most people this is a great way to get some initial views of your content and hopefully a few like and maybe even a repost or two if your friends and family really like your work. Twitter on the other hand is a micro blogging site that will attract followers to your twitter account based on what you are tweeting about and how well you have promoted your twitter account. Following people that are also interested in the same topics as you are by using the search tool is a great way to expose your twitter account and subsequently your hubs to people that might like your content. These two should be done immediately upon finishing your hub and if you are already logged into your accounts the second you click the share button your content will be shared to your communities.
News Submissions Sites Reddit and Digg
I personally have been more successful getting traffic from the Reddit community than digg, however your experiences may differ. It is very important that you submit your link to the right sub reddit within reddit in order to not be down voted to oblivion extremely quickly. Take the time to learn ths sites and how to engage with the other users in order to maximize your experience with these news submission sites. Submitting the link and entering in your summary as a description and your titles should take no more than a minute or two.
Social Bookmarking Sites
Social Bookmarking sites let you place unique URL's into a list of sites you like or into a collection of links that are about a specific topic. The three social bookmarking sites that are fairly easy to use and very easy to create a community of friends within are Stumble Upon, Delicious, and Pearl Trees. There are tons more social bookmarking services out there Blink list being another one i like, however these three are quick to use from a browser if you have the extension installed. Using extensions is a huge help for making bookmarks and engaging with social network communities.
It is important to find others that like similar content as yourself. Become there friends and ask for friendship back if needed.
