God, Thank You For Bringing Our Soldier Home!
Soldiers Surprising Their Loved Ones Videos- A Hub By Habee!
I visited Habee's hub: "Soldiers Surprising Their Loved Ones Videos".
It's a hub of heart-warming videos of our soldiers returning home.
The first video blows YOU away!
I was blown away!
Habee's hub inspired me to create this hub/poem before I could comment to her hub about her beautiful hub and beautiful videos!
I wrote a poem just to really make this a legitimate hub of my own - but it isn't.
All I'm doing is drawing you "here" to go here:
God, Thank You For Bringing Our Soldier Home!
He walked onto his sidewalk.
He was overwhelmed and couldn’t talk!
He was at war for more than a lifetime.
Now holding his dog was Heaven sublime!
The dog could remember,
This missing family member!
The separation had lasted forever,
But “this bond”, time could not sever!
Soldiers find their way home,
After lifetimes, - on wings of chrome.
Doors open, surprises, there’s joy and cheers!
Children run and jump on their Parents with tears!
Tears of joy flow freely for this clan so dutiful,
Serving and waiting for this reunion so beautiful!
Fires of love rage with this rekindling and relighting!
Purest love glows and grows with this love reuniting!
These tears are those that wash pain away!
These are tears that say what words cannot say!
These are tears that heal a gaping hole,
And give new life to a withered soul!
Sons and mothers! Mothers and daughters!
Stoke the “fire”, throw on another log!
Fathers and sons! Parents with children!
Thank you for my family, and God, thank you for my dog!

Thanks so much for giving ereyvone a very remarkable possiblity to read articles and blog posts from here. It is always very lovely plus stuffed with a good time for me personally and my office acquaintances to search your web site at the least three times in a week to read through the latest issues you will have. Not to mention, I am also usually contented with your impressive tactics you give. Selected 2 points in this posting are indeed the simplest we've ever had.
You can never thank the soldiers enough for their service and dedication. It was a great hub as always.
Thanks for this hub. Seeing these soldiers being reunited with their families is so timeless. Did you see the youtube video of the soldier being greeted by his dog? It is such a beautiful and happy sight to see. I await the day when when all our soldiers are back home.
Oh my what amazing and very heart moving pictures. May a full charge of his angels be with each and every sould serving in our military watching of them and their every step pathing a path of peace, health and a safe return home. Peace, Love and Joy :)
Very touching emotionally to see those reunions and there is such rejoicing when a soldier makes it back home safely. Nicely done as always, Micky.
Well done Micky, for the poetry and putting the photos with it, very moving. Each photo encapsulates the joy of the return home and reveals to how difficult the time they were away must have been for them and their families. It is important that we remember occasions like these.
"God, Thank You For Bringing Our Soldier Home!"...Well said.
For everyone that made it home...I wish you Peace! (From a Family that knows what it is like...to not have one make it home.) I wish each and everyone Peace...for all their days...and want to thank them...very much...for their service to us! MD...reading your writings...is always a pleasure.
Micky Dee, this is an awesome combination site. I am linking it to my "Memorial Day Country Style" site, as I was that impressed, and will soon join both your fan club and hers. So glad you found me this morning. This is an awwesome hub, which will no doubt add much to mine. (: v
I give much appreciation to this hub. Excellent topic. It good to increase our nationality. I think we all know that they are hero, for the country and for the family. They fight to defend and uphold justice. only the blessed ones who have been called his soul to become a soldier. I liked the picture also. You show to us on how they love their partner and their family.
Thumbs up for you, good work and I rate this. Peace :)

It is the real love, the forever kind-love that should always be, sad what it takes to make it real sometimes.

You really have a huge heart., you are a gem, Micky.

What a great Memorial day gift to all who are waiting and all who are longing to come home. to trade blood soaked soil or sand for backyard dirt and a local beach with your family bweside you, there is niothing grerater than thatt. Superb write~~~MFB III
Hi, Mickey, this is lovely. I sit and watch ours come home and it always makes me have a lump in my throat. I will go look at habees now. thanks for honouring them with such a great poem. Nell
"Our leaders make mistakes but our soldiers hold the line!"
I couldn't agree more. Whether or not I feel strongly against or for an occupation in another country doesn't mean I should have a tiff with the actual soldiers called for duty. At least they are doing something they believe in---or at least they believe in the check.
I got here and will leave for Hubee's just because of my love for Heroes and like you said Bro Micky
The dog could remember,
This missing family member!
Great piece of you once more...
Aye! Mic, I remember coming home, each time was different, but I remember. I remember my dog, she was 12 then not 6, a far cry from the whimpering puppy, locked away in the bathroom alone. She was a German Shepard, she shied away from me, but finally when I was sitting down she answered my call, she did what dogs do, and now you know why. She ran her nose up in my crotch and immediately started whining and shaking her whole hind end, she knew who I was. There's more to that day but I'm stopping here, I'm getting misty, time to tuck it away. Ah, the good times. Peace 50
Your words are appropriate in describing these moments. I can imagine the absence of FEAR now that they are back. I can't imagine how one manages the fear when they are at war, but it has to be FAITH.
Thanks for sharing! love you!!
Absolutely wonderful, and great way to bring light to another excellent writer.
I'm seeing so much more of this these days that I am glad to see the community finally taking a turn for the better.
