How To Get More Traffic On Your Hubs

Updated on April 4, 2009

How To Get More Hub Traffic.

First of all, having a lot of hub traffic means you get more money. It also means that your hubscore will go up. And if you have a lot of traffic that means that people enjoy reading your hubs. Also, the more people that view your hub, the more comments you will get on your hubs.

Become Fans of Other Hubbers. When you become fans of others Hubbers, they wil usually view your hubs. If you are lucky, the other Hubbers will comment on your hubs. Also, if you become a fan of someone and then comment on their hubs, the more likely it is that they will read your hubs and comment on them.

Forums. If you don't already, write on the HubPages Forums as much as you can. People will see that you are interested in HubPages and possibly check out your hubs and become your fan.

Tags. When someone on HubPages searches a topic for hubs, the way the articles are found is by the tags the author put on the hub. If someone searched "baseball trading cards tips", and you tagged "baseball" and cards" in your hub, your hub will show up as a search result. That is why having a lot of tags on your hubs increases your traffic.

Facebook. You can use Facebook to promote your hubs too. You can post your hubs in a variety of different places on Facebook too. Post your hubs on your status, wall, friends walls, chat, personal information, and even to groups that have something to do with the topic of your hub.

StumbleUpon. StumbleUpon is a website that members can press a "Stumble" button, and it takes them to a random website that has to do with what they said they liked (i.e. music, cars, fashion, movies). When you become a member, you can upload about 10 of your hubs to the site. This means when other people "Stumble", there is a chance they will end up on your hub.

e-Mail. Let your friends and family know what HubPages is all about by e-Mailing them the links to your hubs. They will enjoy reading what you have to say; and you get more traffic.

Texting and Phone Calls. Call or text your friend that you published a new hub. They can go and read it, and even if they do not have a HubPages account, they can comment on your hub. This is also a great way to spread the HubPages happiness.

Chosing Good Hub Topics. Write your hubs about what people want to read. Make sure your hubs have topics that a wide audience of people will read and enjoy. A good topic is the key to getting more traffic, more comments, more money and higher scores.

Thanks and hopefully this will increase your hub traffic.
