How more number of followers can earn more money

Updated on May 26, 2011

More Followers - More Money

Many people wonder whether number of followers has any effect on the earnings. Actually, it can impact your earnings directly or indirectly. Many or I must say that most users on HubPages do not think so, but it actually helps you to make more money. I will explain you how more number of followers can help you earn more money. Whenever you publish any hub, a mail gets fired to all your followers and they will read your hub if they find the topic interesting. Obviously your followers are not going to click on any Google Ad, and that is what most hubbers will give as a reason for not earning extra money.

How more followers can earn more money

If any of the hubber finds the content interesting and useful, it is likely that he/she will drop a comment; each comment will help you to increase the content and search engine robots will find the page more useful with newly added content. Comments posted by fellow hubbers will also help your webpage to gain more audience as it will be displayed on the profile page of that hubber also. And if you are lucky enough, some hubbers may even share the content on any social bookmarking site like digg, twitter or facebook. Doesn't all this sound meaningful to earn more money by having more followers?

Though more number of followers will certainly help you earn more money, but obviously you must write great content to reap such benefits. Only good content will get you more visitors, comments, share and even search engine traffic. So if you just keep making a huge follower base and will not write quality articles, you will not be able to earn money from HubPages. Quality articles will get you direct search engine traffic which is the best way to get more readers and clicks, but having more followers can also help you to get more readers and more money.

To get more followers, it does not mean that you will simply start following as many users as possible and expect everyone to follow back you. You have to first write some good content to prove yourself worth following; if you do that you will automatically get more number of followers. Actually you should only follow those whom you find interesting and would like to read their content whenever published; but this is only a way to limit yourself following large number of users and receiving too many e-mails.

So, if you write great content, be active in communities and follow worthy hubbers, you will certainly get more number of followers and earn more money directly or indirectly.
