How to Add Affiliate Links to Your Hubpage Profile

Updated on July 15, 2010

Have you recently joined Hubpages.com and are having a hard time placing affiliate links on your account? Well read on for simple, step by step instructions on completing this process.

*This is assuming you are already a member of all the affiliate programs listed.

The first thing you need to do is sign in to your Hubpages.com account. Once there click on the "my account" link on the top left side of the page. You will see many links and what you need is the link that said "Affiliate setting" which will be under the "my account" link. Click on it.

The first affiliate code requested is for Google. What you need to do is go into your Google Adsense account to get this code. Once you are in your Adsense account, you can find the code by clicking on the "My account" tab and at the bottom of it you will see your Adsense for content pub number. You need to copy the whole thing starting from "ca-pub...." and paste it to your Hubpages account.

Next you need your Amazon affiliate tracking ID. You will find this by signing in to your account and looking at the left hand side, where it will say "Tracking ID." This is going to be something like "myusername-20" so look for it and copy and past it into the space reserved for Amazon affiliate number.

After Amazon, you will see eBay, this is referring to eBay Partner Network. You can find your campaign code by signing in to your account and clicking on the campaign tab. Once there you will see the default campaign or you can create your own campaign. Copy the numbers and paste it in the space reserved for eBay.

Now you have Kontera, which is a bit tricky. In Your Kontera account you need to click on the "get tag" link which will allow you to view your html code. In the html code you will see something that said "publisher ID=" take the number after the equal sign and place it in the space reserved for Kontera.

Finally you have the analytics, which is not an affiliate, but rather a tracking tool. To get your analytics number you need to create a new profile for your Hubpages profile. To do this you need to first click on the "my profile" tab on Hubpages and copy the URL, which will be something like "hubpages.com/username." Copy this and place it in the new profile space in the Google analytics website. You will then be given a number with two letters in the front, copy it and place it in the space reserved for analytics.

You're done! You can check your earnings by following the links in your Hubpages affiliate page.
