HubPages Success Stories #3 - billybuc: Writer of Excellence
Inspiring other hubbers
Not minding all the comments and accolade that he's receiving right now, I personally overlooked a man who stands out among us here at HubPages.
Whether or not you like him, he's shining aura will overwhelm you and inspire you to be like him.
I'm talking about billybuc aka Bill Holland in real life.
Voted in Hubbie Awards 2012 as Most Helpful Hubber and Most Beautiful Hub, those awards are testimonies that I'm on the right track to spread the words among the old hubbers who are already successful and the newbies who are also dreaming to be noticed one day.
Aside from being an all-around hubber, he's also on his way to publish a second novel.

A multi-tasking fellow
I'm sure it's not new to you to be a multi-tasker or be jack-of-all-trades, master of none.
But I want to oppose the notion that he is not a master of his activities. From hubbing, writing articles on other businesses and self-publishing his own written book, I am in awe (mouth-opened) with the activeness of this senior writer on HubPages.
Yes, fellow hubbers! We are being left on our own trash bin as we are not takings seriously this online writing community.
Imagine all netizens having the most helpful neighbor in their community, just e-mail Sir Bill and he will answer you in a jiffy.
Whenever there is a new hubber publishing his or her hub, expect an encouraging message coming from him (also worthy of mention is his friend carol7777). Indeed, an all-around hubber.
The humbleness of his character exudes in all corners of the Hub World. He will not deny you his knowledge, instead he will willingly impart what he'd gained from other equally helpful hubbers that helped him to succeed.
Really, the distance among us, hubbers, is not a hindrance once you hollered for help from this gentleman.
billybuc's Perspective in Life
"To strive, to seek, to find...and not to yield."
And why, you ask, does that quote mean so much to me? I guess I would say because it says never give up. There are things in life worth going the distance for and if you are lucky enough to find that special thing, special someone, then you damn well better give it every ounce of effort. Life was not meant to be a spectator sport.
In the Spotlight
billybuc: A Personal Experience
His comments on my hubs are always in a prime mood.
Although, others may also equal his enthusiasm in order to inspire me and other fellow hubbers, his comments will always leave a smile on your face as positivism is apparently his cup of tea.
Take for instance, these comments, just recently
- On my hub regarding why people believe in luck: "Interesting thoughts! I've never believed in luck; I'm a believer in making things happen through hard work." :)
- Regarding my DIY projects this year: "Well good luck with those projects. All of mine need to be done outdoors, so I'm just waiting patiently for spring weather." :)
As busy as I am, he always sees to it that my feature hubs on my profile are scanned and commented by him.
He writes lengthy articles but once you read each hub, you'll get hooked from the beginning to end.
Almost all his hubs are garnering massive comments, from tens into hundreds, which I lack in all of my hubs.
Therefore, I'm hoping that this simple 'cry of triumph' will reverberate in all the nooks and crannies of HubPages.
I'm sure there will be a cult following with this Elite-to-be in the future as he recently launched his Writing Contest and his first book as the coveted prize (I hope to get one even I don't win.).
His advocacy lines up with Simple Living and keen interest on Social Issues, Faith and Housing Solutions for the homeless.
His support system is overwhelming as he steadily increases his followers of thousands in less than a year!
He strives...he seeks...he finds...but never yield.
Sir Bill Holland humbly shares his expertise on everything. He rose up from hopelessness and composed himself to be a catalyst of change on the way we write on HubPages.
And I'm affected by it, positively.
Be inspired, seek knowledge and share your ideas on HubPages.
