Squidoo Lensography of Nancy Oram - Entrepreneur From the Age of Six
Who Is Nancy Oram - Lensmaster on Squidoo?
"Creating an online income with quality content and products." I spend most of my waking hours in front of a computer screen. I started earning part-time income online in 2005. Today, 100 percent of my income is made online. I love the flexibility of working for myself. The secret lies in your motivation. I thought I could never make a full-time income working for myself, until my other source of income abruptly ended. I'm so thankful I had started something online I could seriously build on. I think the most important focus of being successful online is offering the the very highest quality in content and products.
This is a Squidoo Lensography and mini Biography of Nancy Oram, Giant Squid, entrepreneur, WAHM, genealogist, Mobile Notary, vintage pattern publisher, and most important of all, mother of seven.
Nancy Oram Lensography
Simply a list of my growing Squidoo lenses.
I discovered Squidoo in March of 2008. I loved it, but I had to research it thoroughly to see if it was worth my time. You see, I had to make money, and no time to waste. I didn't have to make it overnight, but the potential had to be there. From friendly people willing to share I determined this would work--over time and with good quality content. That's for me!
I plan on becoming a Giant Squid September 30, 2008, and have 100 lenses early in 2009. My lenses are detailed and take lots of time to build. I can't seem to do it any other way. Maybe as I build more I'll find shortcuts. I can't wait for the perks (like a template) that come with Giant Squidom. Also, since I have to make my living from home, I look forward to how Squidoo can add to that.
[UPDATE: I met those goals, and continue to build lenses on Squidoo as well as my other online properties. You CAN make a living online! It might be more work than a "real job" but it's a lot more fun and less stressful.]
My Family
My Family, My Most Important Accomplishment
Nothing Else Can Compare With Being a Mom
This photo is of me and my latest grandson, Jake. My family's the greatest. I'm so blessed. I'm the mother of seven, grandmother of six. I have five boys and two girls. One daughter is missing from the above photo. She was the victim of an accident in 1992 at the age of 17.
I only have two boys left at home. They're twins, and we've homeschooled for six years.
The above link will take you to my personal blog where you can learn more about my family and view more pictures.
UPDATE: Grandbaby number seven is on the way!

What Web 2.0 Can Do For You
My mother says she knew I would be an entrepreneur when at the age of six she found me on the front lawn with a card table, selling all my old toys to the neighbor kids.
I started building web pages several years ago. They all need cleaning up, but they're still bringing in business. I really have my finger in too many pies, but it keeps life interesting.
In the days BI (Before Internet) I started a word processing business from home. Going through divorce, I found myself BART-ing to San Francisco as an office administrator for engineering consultants. A second marriage brought the surprise of my life -- twin boys at the age of 41! Back to working from home, and that's when the Internet came into my life.
