This is How to Get More Traffic Submitting RSS Feeds of Our HubPages and Blogs to Various RSS Feed Directories

Updated on May 11, 2014

Of course we can find many ways in the Internet to get free traffic for our Hubs and Blogs. Submission of RSS feeds is one to get free traffic for our articles. Apart from readers of the directories we can also get traffic from various search engines as each one will immediately crawl our every submission of RSS feed which helps us to get a lot of backlinks for our sites. Getting and Submitting RSS feeds of our HubPages and Blogs is as easy as 123.

What does RSS mean?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a group of web feed formats. It's an easy way of distributing list of headlines and updated works like blog entries, news, audios and videos in a standardized format to the mass of internet users. RSS is a good means for those who want to know the unprecedented changes in the contents of various news, sports, health and product websites. It helps subscribing readers to timely updates from their favorite websites and also aggrregating feeds from many sites into one place. Every feed has its title along with a little description and a link to visit the site.

How can we get RSS feeds for our HubPages and Blogs?

There are two ways to get RSS feeds of our every HubPage. In one method we can get it from the page source of the site. For this we need to open our Hubpage for which we want to get the rss feed and click on 'view' on the top and then on the sub-tab 'source'. From the page source you can easily find out the RSS feed of your site which usually appears as href=""/ Now you can copy only the thing lying between " " and submit in many RSS feed directories.

In another way you can get it with the help of feed validators. In the internet there are many feed validators which will be helpful to check out whether our url is valid rss feed. To get the RSS feed of any site we need to simply enter the url of it in the box that appears on every feed validating site and click 'validate' or 'check'. At once you click 'validate' or 'check' you will get results and recommendations for your site including RSS feed of your site which appears before the word 'source'.

Some RSS feed directories where we can submit our feeds

We can submit RSS feeds of our blogs and hubs in many RSS feed directories for free! We can find more with the help of major search engines. Some directories won't ask you to sign up for the submission of feeds. However, it will be nice if you select the feed directories where you can open your account. Please, don't forget to log in your account when you submit your feeds to the directories. After the log in you can find there many features including submit feeds, my feeds, profile settings and so on. When you click the link 'submit feeds' or 'add feeds', a box will appear in the new window and there you can paste the rss feed of your hubpage and any other blog including of your best hubs, hot hubs, latest hubs and profile page and now you just click 'submit'. Thats all!.In some other RSS Feed submission sites you can readily submit your RSS Feeds of your sites. You can also check out whether your feed has been added in the list by checking out your account or by searching your article using the search engine available in each RSS Feed submission site. In the Internet we can find more number of RSS Feed Directories which allow us to submit RSS Feeds of our sites just for free. If you are interested to submit RSS Feeds of your sites in many number of RSS Feed Directories, you will be able to get many backlinks for your sites so that you have good traffic at no cost .

To get additional traffic of your submitted feeds, log in your account in the RSS feed directory and click the link 'my feeds'. After getting the list of feeds click them one by one to open and, if it possible, save 'tags'. We every one know that tags are group of words used by the search engines and other systems to index our sites. If we save some relevant tags for our every feed, there will be a chance to get some traffic. We can save at least 4 or 5 tags for our every feed.

Dear Peter, Thanks for coming here and your nice question. Yes! We can get more traffic for our each submission. But, only one feed submission each day will be enough to get result. According to me we can use only three different directories each week.

Feed aggregators don't always provide search engine optimization benefit as their links aren't always "followed", but they are a good way to drive traffic.

The easiest way to find the RSS feed for a hub is to simply take the URL found in your address bar when visiting the hub and add ?rss to the end of it.
