What HubPages did to me

Updated on February 11, 2010

Your write-ups making money

I was turned off of investing my money online because of many pyramiding or networking scams that will lure you to invest on them. My e-mails mainly consist of many invitations of the so-called fast cash investment schemes. Even, if I delete it, it just keep on coming in my email address, even in the spam mail section. The persistence of this money-making database is alarming, not only me, but all users of internet, as well.

The allure of HubPages

As I began the search for the best writer’s haven last year, HubPages flashed on my computer’s screen. It turned out to be the best thing and the most considerate site that welcome me to the writing world again. This is my best find when I forgot the password of my blog site. It opened many opportunities writing subjects and ideas that I’ve experienced, read and viewed.

Start a new hub

This is a big challenge for writers who want to express their ideas in a rich-content stories. I noticed that other writers did research well to get a higher rating. Featured writers have 100 per cent rating or at the bracket of 95 per cent or so. I am also longing to be in that bracket of Hub Nuggets. The good thing was I was nominated as one of the ten wannabies on September 2009.It inspires me to make more sensible and rich-content hubs. I even dared myself to a 30-hub challenge each month for the third time around.

Monetize

By carefully selecting your tags or selected words that jive to your topic, you can easily associate it to products on sale at eBay or Amazon online stores. I experienced being disapproved by Google AdSense due to the fact that I violated clicking my own ads by accident. Ads affiliate like eBay and Amazon provide great opportunity to associate their products with my hubs. If someone of your fellow hubbers or online buyers click your ads, it will be converted to certain percentage and cash. Analytics powered by Google checks the richness of the contents of writer’s hubs. There’s also Yield Build and Kontera that will also check your tags and contents. EBay requires the writer to buy a domain in order to enjoy the percentage of referrals into cash.

Manage

Many prolific HubPages writers have received good payoffs. By continuously managing it’s hub, it is always possible to be featured as one of the Hub Nuggets. To encourage your friends to visit your hubs, you can connect it to Facebook and Twitter. You can also add your write-ups top your blogspot at www.blogger.com

. Google AdSense is also managing the site. Adding its widgets and carousels will surely lure some online readers to buy something from your blog site.
