1.average traffic is 25 per day (being frank).
    2.I don't.

I don't have much idea about increasing traffic by tools. Hope somebody else will help you on this.

    Hi Ishwarya_p.

My daily traffic is approximately 1500 hits per day with about 85-90% of that traffic coming from Google and other search engines.

That's just on this account. I have four other accounts I also write on which get about 200 hits a day but have a much higher CTR and Amazon sale rate - those are my money making hubs.

I don't backlink. I tried it early on, and probably have about 20-30 low quality backlinks floating around online, but I quickly learnt that I don't want to backlink here, coz I'd rather be writing.

Basically backlinking just speeds up the maturity rate of a hub. So I'd rather write 50 hubs that mature in 9 months than write 5 hubs that I backlink a lot and mature in two months.

Hubpages is a strong enough platform that you don't need to backlink if you learn how to use Keywords and on page SEO properly.

My other four accounts have few or no followers, aren't known on hubpages and have never been backlinked in any way. I write a hub, then I leave it. I don't do anything else to it (except an occasional correction if I had a spelling error or incorrect or updated info.)

    Hope that helps!

I'm not getting that much traffic on my hubpages, but I'm promoting my website, with various methods - from Twitter, to Facebook. I'm getting ~500 uniques and 4k daily pageviews.

I build backlinks as well, I ask related sites to link to us, and also; help us out by sharing ideas like us. I also get a lot of direct traffic - which is possibly from word of mouth, and forum signatures.

It's not really about traffic though, its about the content, and if people are coming back or not
