With time, well written hubs will gain traffic from search engines?
I see that being mentioned here and there. Does that happen because of magic? prayers? is there another explanation? Or am I misunderstanding something?
Magic and prayers might help, but if something is well put together and informative, more people are likely to share it, comment on it and read it. The more people that read it, the higher it goes in the search engine ratings.
If it has a subject that people are searching for, it will get views, links and mentions that push it upwards-- but it takes time for those statistics to accumulate.
Badly written hubs are ignored or unpublished.
It's no magic at all. It's all based on search engine algorithms, which take time to accumulate statistical data. That data is based on results of your traffic. If people click away real fast, this shows the hub may have little value. If readers stay on the page a long time, then they are probably reading to the end. This shows search engines that you may have something of value and well written. So they will send more traffic over time.
Whilst the search engines do need some time to evaluate a new hub, you also need to do some of your own "online marketing" this is not at all difficult. What you can do to help:-
Post to your hub from forums
Use your own blog or blogs to mention your hubs
Like with your facebook account
Ask your friends to do the same.
This will all help to give you hub that little extra push

I've come to the conclusion that in order to get people to even look at your hubs, you must post in these forums. It may help get a few more fans, but if it doesn't, what have you lost. I've come here to hubber's hangout to see if anybody will become curious about my writing. I'm guessing I'm not...
