Add Pictures to Hubs - Thumbnails
A hub I am writing will be focusing heavily on the pictures, in fact, I expect I'll get more hits with the pictures than anything else. I wanted to just put the pictures in one module, and title each one in the description. Will this still get hits in Google Images? If I do them individually, that will allow me to title them individually, but would look like a mess. Having them all in one module would look good, but I want to ensure each one will return in Google search results.
Can't find info anywhere. Help I hubber out, thanks!
Hi David,
You have actually answered the question as far as Google images goes.
'title each one in the description'
Make sure you accurately describe the photos and name them correctly. i.e. This is the 'Empire State Building' or whatever it is.
Even if you put them all in one photo capsule, they will all be seen by the search bots and as long as the description is clear, it will not be a problem.
There isn't a way to hide the descriptions and in fact that would be counter productive. Most people like the additional information in the description field.
Keep it concise. Just one line usually looks neat.
Hope this helps.
Here is an example of this idea from one of my hubs. Check it out. It works well.
Unfortunately in this question format the hyperlink has been stripped out.
This is to stop spamming of course. You can see how it looks on my profile page.
Great, thank you, all the info I needed.

Hi, I know hubpages allows you to add many pictures as you want, but is it a good idea to overload your hub with lots of pictures or should you have a limit. How many pictures should you use and where is the best place to put pictures (top, before title, end of hub, start of hub, etc). ...

Is it possible that, even when a Hub is in Idle Status, it could still be found on the Web and get views and thereby come out of Idle Status? I ask this because I was searching the Web on a subject and accidentally found a Hub and when I checked the Hubber's profile, this particular Hub was not...

Where do you find your photos you use as thumbnails for your hubs?Especially because it says not to use other's photos unless you have license to do so I just don't want to get into any trouble...

Do you have any hubs where your Yahoo search traffic is more that all the Google searches combined (thats Google with different domains (TLDs))? I have a few, although not many.
