Are hubs truly for the exchange of knowledge?

I have found countless hub writers who write about a topic and then get upset that others have a difference of opinion. They use ad hominems to decredit the opinions of others and when that doesn't work they delete their comments. How can we learn from each other if we only want to hear from those that agree with us? How can wisdom be spread if we think we know it all? What conquers humanity is us being divided, Nontolerant and stubborn. Positive progress only happens when we are in unity not divided.

If they wanted to express themselves without feedback why not write in a journal or diary? Why come to a public forum using freedom of speech only to deny others the same right?

I agree. Truth should be something we all can discuss. No one person has a.monopoly on truth and many don't realize it. To get a better concept of it we must put our minds and experiences together.
