Am I alone in the realization that few of my "Followers" are actually made aware of my new Hubs?
I am always made aware of any new hub you publish. I cannot speak for anyone else. But one thing If Hubbers don't look at their e-mail frequently they may miss it or it may go to their junk folder and they don't check that folder as often; or they get hundreds of emails daily as in my case they will not know.
Blessings my friend
The difference appears to have coincided with finding new Hubs on "Feed" rather than the old system. Where are you irst noticing mine?
I am notified by e-mail when you have published a new hub.
I always get notification of your hubs and rarely look at the 'feed'. I'm catching up with some of yours after less time on the site due to house renovation!
I'm not sure about my own but when I publish I generally get a number of comments. Have you checked all the settings on your profile, in case there is any restriction there?
Sometimes I think hubpages just has a brainstorm and the system does what it wants! I don't pretend to understand it at all.
Hope you're well.
Ann
I always get notifications of your hubs and those of some of the people I follow, but not everyone. Sometimes I think, I haven't seen anything new from Jane Doe in awhile. I'll go to her profile and, sure enough, she will have published some. I'm not sure what gives, but I think the HP computers may just be counting the last few authors that you've read. For awhile, I was getting notifications mostly from poets and questions. I took a hiatus from reading poetry and sought out some of my old favorite hub authors and my feeds became more balanced.
No and No. Perhaps HP techies are totally worthless. Perhaps HP wants it that way. But the technical staff or Stall is really lousy. Maybe they do not pay them enough. But they are among the worst that I have seen since 1998 when we started doing lists. before integration.
The techies just plain stink. These guys could not work their heads out of a paper sack. But like I say perhaps they are paid to make it not work.
I believe most members are aware of your new material. That being said, I do not always get notification from two of my favorite authors, who happen to be women.
However, I find their new material by noticing comments from other members who have left feedback on their recent hubs.
Lastly, members read what they want to read, including yourself and myself.
For example, I have published recent articles that you have not read. Maybe some of your readers get notifications, but are tired of the one-way street wherein they support you, but you do not support them. Food for thought. That is an area that we all have to review...

I've almost finished working through my entire portfolio, to improve aesthetics, declutter for CTR, and to comply with Hubpages TOS.It was a valuable exercise, as whenever I do this I find Amazon products which are no longer supplied or are currently unavailable, small formatting errors, comments...

How can this be done? Some hubbers only have a small amount of hubs and not a lot of followers. How can they make $100 a week when some of us who write more hubs, mind you quality stuff, use all the links, amazon capsules and still only maybe make a few bucks a month? I would love...

Right now, while a Hub is pending, it doesn't show ads, it has a "no follow" tag etc. However our followers get notified and they may share the Hub during that time. It would be nice if that notification could be delayed, too.

On Twitter you can create lists of people that you are following and you can see the tweets of only those people. I wish we had the same thing on HubPages so that I can put the people I follow into lists. This can greatly increase my productivity if I can see hubs that I do not wish to miss easily...

Thanks to ThatMommyBlogger for finding this site and bringing it up in another thread. I think it deserves its own thread to warn HP writers. It looks like a site called 2uidea-dot-com is taking newly published hubs and putting them up as their own at a rapid pace. It appears they have filled their...

After finally being approved by AdSense, I received an email from them stating that ads would be shown on my Mexican Salsa hub. But none of my other hubs show any ads. Also, when I write hubs my followers aren't being informed of them. What can I do to fix the problem? Thank you, Vespa Woolf
