Hi Belinda. Google cloaks their exact algorithm so no one knows exactly how searches are ranked, but we do know some things. The content of your article and how it compares to searches definitely matters, especially in regards to the title of your Hub.
The number of times your article has been viewed also heavily impacts the rank. Many other factors apply, though some may be quite minute. A diverse set of multimedia content, proper grammar, backlinks, and even URL length all affect rank.
My advice is to develop a catchy, searchable title for each Hub, and then focus less on search engine optimization for the content (better to avoid spamming keywords just to improve rank). It also helps to find your own niche that hasn't been covered extensively, improving the chances of readers finding your writing. Best of luck.
