For some reason, I can't have hyperlinks from my profile page today.

Before today, the two links I had on my profile page worked just fine. Today, I created another link and now there are no links. And I can't create any. No link to my Google+ account that establishes me as an author in search and no link for new users to sign up to Hubpages. No outbound links at all.

    What am I doing wrong?

Today I'm having problems with others linking to my URL. when they use my subdomain to connect. www.dndswordsmith.hubpages.com. They get this message "Sorry, that user does not exist." What do I do now?

          Hi dndswordsmith. Welcome to HubPages.

You don't need to use the www. in front of your domain name. Just use
          http://dndswordsmith.hubpages.com/

You shouldn't have any problem linking to your domain then.

The new profile being rolled out soon will not allow links anymore in the bio section. But they will have another section where one can put their social media links and maybe some others. My guess is that  what you are experiencing relates to that. Who knows? Maybe the time is closer than we think! big_smile

Ah so that’s what it might be?  I had just spent half an hour trying to re-add my links on my profile page, and restarting my computer a couple of times.  Well at least I know it isn’t another virus on my computer, gezz, that would be have been the 3 time I had to reboot my computer again this week.  yikes

Yeah, I could feel a disturbance in the force where a great many links cried out in pain before they vanished...errr I mean my profile links aren't working either.  Kind of odd.

I am creating a new hub and am experiencing link problems. Says bad link, has no description, complex URL only and the text runs out of the text area.

      Yep SAME!!

All my links are stated to be bad.... but in anticipation of a damn good bug exterminator... I put them in anyway!

Now I have new hubs with Bad Bug Links.... at least they aren't Bed Bugs! sad

This sounds like a different issue.
Can you please read over the bug FAQ and then start a new thread?
