Hello hub world! I am currently seeking a mentor to assist me in my passion for writing. I have not been actively writing in years and upon finding this site, have found the passion again. Looking for experienced hubbers with the "know-how" and interest to instruct. The forums are nice, but personally I am seeking more of a one on one type of learning. I will gladly use more than one mentor, but not feeling confident this will land me even one. never know until you try I guess. Thanks everyone for checking me out!
P.S I currently have two articles nominated for the hubnugget award! ( Thank you staff for choosing my hubs! ) Please vote for me fellow hubbers!
Hi RustedWho welcome to HubPages. I would suggest you pull out a pen and paper and surf the site. Research is your friend
visit as many Hubs, forums and other sites, as much as possible. Write down in 'point' form, answers to your questions. There is a lot of information and always best to do the 'work' yourself. None of us became overnight sensations either.

What I'm interested in is how you got through the first few months? How did you...

Hi everyone!I am a new Hubber with 2 Hubs under my belt since I joined last week. I have gotten some pretty good comments from friends and on the individual hubs themselves but I was wondering if I could get some feedback from other Hubbers and perhaps ways I can make it better, advice/comments on...

With the recent google algorithm change, i noticed that hubbers who have spent 4 - 5 years are those having their subdomain slammed by google. Why?

How many active hubbers are there on Hubpages? How many hubs are currently featured on Hubpages and how many hubbers?

Sounds like there are lots of changes going on, and it seems that many Hubbers are discouraged. If you were starting from scratch on the site, would you still put in the effort to build your portfolio of hubs here, or would you write primarily for other sites?
