Can anyone tell me why am I not getting any confirmation code text sms to my mobile number? Right now, I even can not add alternative mobile number for receiving confirmation code and whenever i am trying to publish my article it is showing "A confirmation code has been sent to you phone number" whereas i have not received any. Is my account being blocked or are there still any chances of receiving text to my mobile number?

There are some cell phone providers who have an automatic block on business text messages due to spamming and additional costs for each and every text one receives.  You may have to contact your cell phone service provider to see if a block is on and if so, have them remove it.  I have had this problem several times in the past and would not get updates I had requested or bank and business text messages.

Thanks Dale! Yes you are right, I do activated DND (Do Not Disturb) service on my cell phone to avoid unnecessary promotional call which i can deactivate at any time but the problem is i still can not add any alternative phone number on my Hub account. If i can not add any phone number then how do i receive text sms? I think my account has been blocked, what do you think? Although i have already sent a email to hubpages about this matter and have no idea how long hubpages will take to reply me. sad

As a new hubber, I have received only one sms through hub pages. Maybe your cell phone company has blocked certain text messages? I'd ask your phone carrier.
