This week, I encourage you to review local services (e.g. service at your doctor’s office, the local grocery store, your favorite nail salon...) as part of Weekly Topic Inspiration and the Rigorous Review Contest.
Don’t know where to start? Consider using titles like:
Maid Service at [Hotel Name, City, Country]
My Child’s Experience with [Brand Name] Tutoring Services
Does [Brand / Person Name] Career Coaching Make a Difference?
A Review of the Customer Service at [X Store] in [X town]
Ballet Classes at [Studio Name]: A Review
Is [Person’s Name] a Good Massage Therapist?
Pilates Classes by [Instructor’s Name]: A Review
Personal Trainer Service at [Fitness Club Name] in [Town Name]
Are Ride Operators at [Theme Park Name] Safe?
To create search-friendly titles of your own, follow the steps outlined in this Learning Center guide.
If you'd like to join in on this week's topic by writing a Hub, follow these steps:
1) Stop by this week's Weekly Topic Inspiration Question.
2) Click the green button "answer this question".
3) Click the gray button below the box (leave that empty) that says "make a Hub about it."
4) Give your Hub a very specific title, like Easy Summer Gardening Projects for Kids or Challenging Summer Activities for Teens
5) Create good quality original content that hasn't been covered before.
6) After you publish your Weekly Topic Inspiration Hub, come back to this forum thread and post a link to your Hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why.
For more information on the Weekly Topic Inspiration program, check out the Learning Center guide.
BTW, so that your Hubs can qualify for Hub of the Day (not to mention our contest), make sure the images are legally used and properly attributed!
Ok, I decided to toss in a service review because I get the sense that the service reviews are the least popular in this review contest and because I just love the service I get from my online grocer here in Ottawa!
Here is my link: http://renegadetory.hubpages.com/hub/Bu … -in-Ottawa
Thank you for letting me share!
ps. I noticed that there is no sub category for online grocery stores on Hub Pages, the closest being"mail order" ... I hope that online grocery shopping will gain popularity because it's really fantastic.

Simone-you've offered a great list of service ideas here.
Simone this is just a great idea for Hubs! I actually had been thinking about wanting to write a Hub about our local community center but didn't know exactly how to go about it. A review of the coaching and sports teams there for kids is perfect!
Fabulous!! Sounds like it'll be a great Hub!
I have a problem. It is definitely not a service I would recommend. I've already complained to the AZ AG, corporate and regional headquarters and the BBB. it is an automotive franchise repair service. I can tell you all the places NOT to go. Do not go to ANY auto repair franchise. I don't believe they have to be ASE certified. Not a problem you may think for just an oil change - but my experience was a total fail and I put some of it on pissedconsumer.com and the local craigslist R&R.
I can't think of any service that I would recommend. Character, professionalism, customer service & satisfaction?
The only thing I can think of are the wonderful firefighters who toiled day and night nonstop in the Arizona desert during the summertime putting out the Monument Fire in the extreme terrain of the Huachuca Mountains.
Up on Mt. Lemmon near Tucson, where there was a fire 8 years ago, I saw a white wooden cross on the steep slope near the camping sight and know that a firefighter lost their life at that spot.
:'-(
Perhaps a hub on all the different heroes who died in service? It's not just the military who die doing their job.
Keep in mind, ptosis, that reviews don't *have* to be positive! It sounds like you have a lot to write about- I'd make a Hub!
I already started it but waiting for the final outcome before publishing it.
I said good things about Salvation Army and I mentioned not so much in contrast St. Vincent de Paul but I didn't want to publish a bad review on SVDP because it might lower donations if some of the stuff was known. Very small town. I have a bunch of negatives on the local shelter Good Neighbor Alliance but I've felt that pitching a bitch directly to them instead of online would be more productive,
Service review competition entry.
I did a ticket company in the UK called Findutickets who do VIP Hospitality for sports and corporate events, along with concerts like Justin Beiber. Beiber fever!

It's worth a look just for the Flickr photo I found of a serious Justin fan!

Hi, not sure many people looking for a great spa to train at but here's a super review for the beautiful spa /club/ resort/hotel (and super trainer) I have near me in Tuscany. I wrote such a favorable review because I have mobility problems (so walking is out, so are lots of energetic exercises actually) but swimming and my trainer at this luxurious spa here really care about me - and my exercise. I love the luxurious pampering too!
Enjoy. Should be fun.
Good luck everyone!
I published this hub about the site QRt.co and my experience with making my QR codes last week. Can I enter it for this weeks service reviews to? If so, here is the link... http://holyjeans30.hubpages.com/hub/Cus … -This-Cool
Here is my review of my favorite gym and the great people who work there!

I would add that if someone is interested in a service review, that perhaps you might consider consolidating your review and posting it on Yelp or another popular service site, and then including the link to your Hub in the review so people can see it for additional information. I use Yelp all the time for restaurants and other services, and I hardly ever use regular search engines to search for reviews, so it might help with your views if you link from other places too. Good luck everyone!
Great idea! I posted on Yelp, we'll see if it gets me more views:)

I didn't do answer this question, but this is a service review I completed this week on windshield repair and I posted it on Safelite's Facebook page and they thanked me
Hey everyone! I am extending this theme until Wednesday of this week so the next one (which is also contest friendly) can last to the end of the contest. Keep those service reviews coming!
In case anyone in the CA Bay Area needs an oil change, I posted a review of my happy experience at SpeeDee Oil Change in Millbrae.

Hey y'all! If you're tired of reviewing services for the contest, I have created a final bonus WTI contest round that will last through the end of the month, which focuses on reviews of great destinations. I hope you'll consider sharing and reviewing your favorite places for the contest!

Eating out is ridiculously fun. Why not write a review of the next restaurant you visit and enter it in our Rigorous Review Contest? I recommend presenting your titles in a more descriptive manner, possibly batching multiple restaurant reviews under a theme (and just using the Ratings Capsule for...
