Manual TOS violation

I am informed that this hub has a terms of service violation, by manual review.

    http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/s … &gl=us

I have asked for clarification but wonder if any of the folks here might be able to let me know what it is?

It's not a 'set the world on fire' kind of hub.  But I can't see any TOS violations.

It's unpublished, so we can't see it.

Sorry, I cannot see the hub as the page link says no longer published.

Oops. I updated to a cached page.

It's easy to forget that just because I can see it doesn't mean anyone else can....

I just had a look in the cache and can see absolutely nothing wrong with the Hub.  The only thing I can think is that one of the links is to a site with malware.

I can only suggest you email them and ask.

Thanks.  I am awaiting a response.

It seems a manual reviewer decided http://www.plosone.org/ was a malware or phishing site.

I can't even begin to discern why, but it's easier to take off the link than keep sending in requests to whitelist well known sources of scientific information.

That happened to me once, too.  It was a reputable site, but it turned out the site had been hacked at one point - by bad luck, just around the time HubPages moderated the Hub!

Just as we may well have had others trying to link to our hubs and been turned down because of rogue ads on the site.

It happens, and the best efforts will never eliminate all of it.

This seems to be exactly what happened here.
