I have been watching my page view numbers every day for the last few months and finally hit 100,000 tonight. BUT...now I want to get the 1 million accolade before I have finished 2 years on HP. I plugged the numbers in my Windows calculator---I will need to hit 2400 page views per day, every day, for the next 15 months. Well, it does not look very likely, but it sounds like a great goal.
(Thanks for the advice, Daughter of Maat!
Thanks Marisa Wright. Your excellent comments on the Forums help all of us.
Thanks, Paradigmshift. I dont think you made this come about any sooner, but your Forum posts are entertaining and keep me glued to Hubpages.)
You never know, you just might make it! I have faith in you Dr.Mark. Anything is possible this I know personally.
Congratulations! Great going on great, informative hubs.
I always knew I was shifty.
WTG on the 100K!
I agree that this place is fun.
Congrats. Are you making money with all the views?
Not much, but I receive money in my paypal account every month.
That is a great goal and as long as you are using white hat SEO promotion, I bet you will accomplish that goal. Congrats on the 100,000 mark.
Congrats on the goal already hit. If you continue to write informative, well written hubs about dogs you never know...thanks for your work thus far I really enjoy your hubs.
Congratulations on surpassing the 100,000 page view mark, DrMark. Awesome!
It took me 2 years and 2 months to reach 1M views and I have a lot less hubs than you. So, your goal to reach 1M views before your second anniversary here on Hubpages is doable.
Having a goal is great motivator. I wish you all the best. Cheers!
Congrats! That is quite the milestone. Here I'm trying to get to 10,000. For me, getting at least that far may be later than sooner. Oh well, at least you've inspired me. Best Regards --Deb
Congrats DrMark1961, on getting 100,000! Your 1m soon come. I hope to get 10,000 really soon. Please share tips and hubber wisdom regarding my potential.
I dont know that I have any tips not already shared my Marisa Wright on other forums. When I changed my titles to make them more search engine friendly, my page views went up considerably.
I also have four hubs that are responsible for most of my views. They are not what I would have predicted, so I really think it helps to publish more hubs, and perhaps one of them will be that title that more people are looking for.

I finally wrote 200 hubs and I've surpassed 100,000 page views. My 200th hub linked together many of my hubs pertaining to small businesses. It's gratifying to know I finally reached another milestone. Thanks to the many of you Hubbers who have served as inspiration during my time here.

I am very excited to claim this many page views! I have been on HP for over a year, and to many, this # may seem somewhat pitiful, but it's hard work to become known on any writing site, and I am thrilled that my words have been viewed over 7,000 times!I really love this site.

but compared to some with many more hubs I feel pleased with my progress. I could probably do better if I backlinked my hubs but they seem to do okay without the effort. Each of us have our own methods and objectives here and this makes it very interesting to see different results from...

How long did it take you to get to 100,000 page views?I enjoyed the answers to my question about how long it took people to get to 10,000 page views I thought I'd take it a step further. How long were you on HubPages and how many hub did you have when you reached 100K?
