How to reproduce (tested on IE10 and FireFox):
1. Go to your profile page.
2. Click [Your Name]-->my account from the top-most menu bar.
3. On the main selection bar, select Photos.
4. Find a photo that has not yet been added to an album.
5. Click choose an album.
6. A partial list of my albums appears below the image, but to get to the others I have to know that they exist and start typing the name in the choose an album field.
Refer to attached photo for an example of what I'm talking about--it only shows 8 of my 13(?) albums to pick from.
NOTE that new albums can easily and quickly be created by typing in this field, also: you might want to change the field name to "Choose or create an album".
NOTE that the field at the top of the Photos page, where it says "Show [ dropdown box v ] photos in [ choose an album ] from [ dropdown box v ]" also exhibits this problem.
Suggestion: (see note directly above) For consistency and clarity, you might want to make "Choose an album" into a dropdown box with an arrow like the other two--it took me ages to discover this feature had been implemented (I can hardly see the light yellow shading even if I tilt my screen way back to where it's not useful for regular work). Note that we have other boxes like this-- it would look something like [ Choose an album (optional) v ].
Wow Laura Schneider!! You rock for making this so easy for us! Thanks for reporting the issue. Hopefully we'll be able to get it resolved first thing next week- for now, I'll make sure Matt M knows and track this bug's process to make sure it doesn't get lost in the fray.
Thanks, Simone! :-) I'm a tech writer, so I usually get the pre- pre- pre-alpha versions of code to try to document from, so I've filed a zillion bug reports over the last 20 years. The better documented the bug, the more likely it'll be fixed--and sooner. :-)
Thanks for reporting this bug and for providing such a detailed report.
I was, indeed, able to reproduce the issue.
It appears to affect all browsers as Opera and Chrome both showed the same as IE10 and Firefox.
This has been forwarded to our engineers so it can be addressed.

There is a new heading on the my account page called photos. It has all the photos I have used in all my hubs, and since I have used some more than once, they appear more than once. I was considering deleting the extras but then feared that they may disappear from the hubs in which they were used....
