Hi hubbers! I just reached my 10th featured hub and am hoping to find more followers. Unfortunately even with 10k+ words between them I haven't yet been accepted into Google Adsense due to lack of content. Any advice with this? Perhaps I need better traffic still.
I was thrilled to finally get my first amazon affiliate reward of 51 cents. I had sent over 500 unique users to amazon before someone made a purchase so perhaps my earlier methodology just didn't prompt conversion. I believe I am getting better as time goes on, a few days away from being a month old on this website.
I hope everyone is finding success and enjoying what they do here!
Jason
Jason, HubPages' advice on Adsense is outdated - I do wish they would change it!
In the last six months or so, Adsense seems to have raised the bar yet again. Now, it looks like you need about 20 featured Hubs to get accepted.
Congratz on the award! Wow, I am so thankful I stumbled upon your forum. I didn't know about the advertising on amazon! I had link's going towards them but didn't actually use it in the hub format.. lol! I may have had tons of buys but didn't get the money for it. Keep up the good work though! I hope you get all your goals.
Yeah I wish the Amazon capsule wouldn't be blocked by adblock, they need to fix that if they can.

For a while I was seeing quite a few of my hubs getting 1 or 2 cents everyday, but recently not anymore, even though the pages are still getting similar amount of traffic. It's no coincidence, and would like to know how the google impression really works here

Okay, it is only .14 from adsense, but you have to start somewhere, right?

So now I can see the light. just repeat what I did and write 37 more hubs and I will make 2 more cents right? But the first set of hubs will again make 2 cents also so I will then have 6 cents! Yes! I can see my income growing exponentially from here on out. What a thrill! Okay so its not...

My daughter, Sunstreeks, got me started on writing hubs. Almost all my hubs are about fishing. I have to start with what I know. My adsense is up to 49 cents and that is a thrill. One day it will be 59 cents and that will be an even bigger thrill. I haven't a clue what I am doing as far as the...
