Just a reminder to cast your vote for one or all of this year's Hubbies!  Check out the blog post for details or just go to the official voting form.  Good luck!  smile

I have already voted! It was such a difficult time to choose just one in any category. There are so many talented writers who dreamed so high and have accomplished so much because Hub Pages was here for us to start.

I think Hub Pages deserves an award for being the true leader in the blogging industry!  I suspect they will expand once they are assured of the success and how the profits will stack up. This is with anything. The writers who write 100 hubs or more that are engaging and SEO friendly, gain the most exposure and the odds of high pay outs could be anticipated. Thank you Hub Pages and I would like to award you *Rock Star* of the blog stratosphere. :-)  Yes, seriously!

A great idea. It's about time some authors got some recognition. Go vote!

Do we have to fill in all fields? I don't know who I'd nominate for some!

WryLilt, Another thread said to just fill in those you want and lLeave the others blank. I had trouble filling in more than just a couple too. No one stands out this year like other years. Maybe it is just me. Some of my favorites have left.

It is harder this year, but you have to go into the site and find them, just choosing from the forums won't work. I can think of plenty that never enter the forums.   Best hubber and hub is hardest for me to choose.

You don't have to vote for all of the categories.  Thanks for voting!

There are no nominees; you can vote for any Hubber.

That's correct, Millionaire Tips.  Thanks!  And, you can only vote once.  smile

OK, that was hard.  I finally chose best all around hubber.  I'm not sure of the criteria by which to choose, but I picked her based on her hubs.  Every one of them is near perfect and she sticks to writing about what she knows, and she knows and shows it very well.
How in the world to pick best hub... it's probably going to be one of hers.

Oh that's really cool. I really enjoy reading more hubs.
        Good effort by HP.

Will do! As soon as I figure in time and know how for copying and pasting all those links. If it's a hubber's name, we can just write it in but to nominate hubs, only links allowed, right? Sorry to be so tech-challenged.

It is time consuming, Jan.  Thanks for putting in the effort!  For the best Hubs categories, you need a full url, but the username for Hubbers is fine.  Thanks!  We have 52 responses so far; I'm hoping we get quite a few more in the next week.  Spread the word!  smile

It's nice to know we can vote for the same person for more than one category.  It is time consuming but I've enjoyed reading different hubs.  The hardest to choose was best hub, but I finally narrowed it down and chose one last night.  I'm about half-way done with the voting.  I don't have a clue for forum king/queen this year.

Oh, absolutely you can vote for the same person more than once.  Many times there's overlap.  There are so many fantastic Hubs and Hubbers it's really hard to choose!  I can see why it's taking time.  Thanks for voting!  smile

I already voted too!  I agree with Jo_Goldsmith11's kudos.  I love being on HubPages.  It's been easy to learn, and the community is very supportive.

I just voted in this week's rising star competition in the Personal Finance category- sort of a warm-up to voting in the Hubbies.  Voting for a Rising Star was pretty easy since there are only 6 choices.  Voting in the Hubbies has thousands of potential hub and author choices and lots of categories.  I have a few thoughts on great hubs and authors in mind, but I may not vote in all of the categories.

Thanks, Jo and Flourish!  HubPages is great because we have such an amazing community.  It really is what sets us apart from the rest.  Thanks!!  smile

Dr. PennyPincher - I agree; it's a difficult task finding the best Hubs and Hubbers on HP.  I guess it's a good problem to have though.  Have a great day!  smile
