My husband is facing a heart transplant, and there is a fundraising website set up. I wonder if it is permissible to share that link somewhere in the forums?...and if so, which one?

There are rules about self-promoting links but I don't see that as self-promoting. Go for it here - the worst that can happen is that it's deleted!

While I'm being a policeman, I can't help noticing that there's a lot of self-promotion that goes on in the forums. Especially the "other topics" forums, where quite often you'll find posts with not much more than the link to the person's Hub.Surely the forums are places to discuss...

I guess the title says it all- I have a few published hubs and a few in the workds that I believe are well written and interesting to read, but I can't see many people finding them through google, what are some other good ways besides spaming links to promote it?This one of the hubs I was talking...

Suppose I've written a hub and I want to post it's link in the related forum then what should I do?Is it permitted to post the link in the forum section?If yes, then how to do so?Is it really helpful in gaining traffic within the hubpages and among other section?Give reply if possible. Thanks.

Who thinks we should ask to reinstate a page dedicated to locating hubbers by hubber score. Beginning with 100-0.We once had such a page here that made the hubber score much more relevant, and we could at least get a chance to locate the top hubbers who most definitely deserved high praise for...

When ı try to promote my hubs or articles at forums ı usually get banned. Are there specific forums to promote? I think linking an article is not spam but forum mods don't think so. Also ı can't see any hub promoted, that made me think ı'm posting at wrong places. Despite all my efforts still...
