While I link my Adsense account, it directs me to Google, which then asks if I want to accept the association, I say yes, then it directs me back to Hubpages, but it just loads a blank page, nothing comes up. I could not find anything like this in the help section, is there something else I need to do? I do not get any errors, it just never loads.
You need to put your Gogle adsense id number in your profile where you check your earnings. That's all you have to do.
Did you go to this page to set up your AdSense account for HubPages?
https://hubpages.com/my/earnings/affili … le-adsense
Here are the instructions:

@genebob
Are you trying to do the association via a mobile device?
If so, I would suggest trying the association process again from a desktop browser like Firefox, Chrome, or Internet Explorer.
I have tried from a mobile device as well, but initially was was my desktop, then my laptop, then my mobile just to try as many avenues as possible.
I have a question... If I start earning on any hubs I make now, Will I receive the back pay after this is fixed? Or will I have to wait for this to be corrected before any earnings start?
It looks like there may be an issue with your AdSense account itself.
We are going to follow up with AdSense to see if we can determine the issue.
You may want to try contacting them as well.
Revenue begins once the AdSense account has been fully associated and there is no mechanism to accumulate or award back pay.
I tried again today, now it is different, when it redircts me back to hubpages, I get the message "There was an technical error verifying your AdSense Association token. Please try again, or contact us if the problem persists. We will do our best to help you."
The issue with your account has not changed as far as I know.
We added this message to clarify what is going on for anyone who runs into the same issue going forward.
Hello, what should be my next step? It's been 9 days and I feel I am not any closer to a resolution. Is there anything I can do on my end?
@genebob
As best we can tell, there may be an issue with the account.
Unfortunately, we have yet to hear anything back from Google AdSense support.
We have made an inquiry and are waiting for their response.
As soon as we hear something I will let you know.
If you would like, you can follow up with Google as well.
I just gt info back from Google and they are contending that it isn't a problem on their end.
Can you try one other thing in order to help determine if the AdSense account is having issues or if there is something on our end that we are missing.
What occurs if you try associating your AdSense ID with one of the other services that use the adsense host API, such as YouTube?
I was able to connect my adsense to youtube as well as web answers without issue.
Thanks for the details. I have forwarded the information to our engineering team.
We manually added your AdSense information and it appears to have "stuck" this time. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Yes, when I go there and it directs me to google, everything is fine, I click "accept association". Then after it tries to redirect me back to the site is when it loads the blank page.
Did you do all of this and then get a blank page?
While signed-in to HubPages, go to My Account > Earnings > Settings
Click the "get started" button next to Google AdSense
Check the "yes" radio button after the question: "Do you already have a Google AdSense Account?"
Click "Next". You will be asked to sign in to or select the Google Account that is associated with your existing Google AdSense account. Then you will be asked for your permission for HubPages to access your Google Adsense account information.
Did you go here and see if your signup worked?
https://hubpages.com/my/earnings/affiliate/
If it worked, you'll see an affiliate code for AdSense in the middle section under External Affiliate Settings.
"Then you will be asked for your permission for HubPages to access your Google Adsense account information."
Yes, I did all those steps, when I click "Accept association" it directs me to a blank page. I let it load for more than 10 minutes, but when I go back to my account it still says I need to set it up.
I looked at your account and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
Do you have an existing AdSense account you are trying to associate with your HubPages profile or did you sign up for AdSense using the mechanism on HubPages?
What is the address (URL) of the page on HubPages which you are seeing as blank?
I wasnt sure if I should put the whole thing here with the token being in the URL, but here it is
https://hubpages.com/my/earnings/affili … 9g68OmJ3yA
Im going through the these steps exactly:
If you already have a Google AdSense Publisher ID, adding it to HubPages is easy.
I've had this adsense account for years
Thank you for the details. We are doing some research to see if we can determine what might be the issue.
If you check your AdSense account, does it show HubPages as an approved location for ads?
It does, this is what it says
www.hubpages.com
0% of content revenue
0% of hosted domains revenue
0% of mobile content revenue
Enabled
disable access
I tried disabling access just not then setting it up again, but got the same result, status is now enabled but my hubpages account still says it needs to be set up.
Also, it says 0% on everything, is this normal?
I think the 0% may be indicating what percentage of your total AdSense revenue comes from HubPages, and since it isn't currently associated with your HubPages account, 0% would make sense at the moment.
I'm still waiting to see if our research determines the issue.
Can you email us at team at hubpages dot com and send the AdSense code you are attempting to use? A screen shot from your AdSense could be helpful as well.
We may need this information if we have to follow up with Google to determine the issue.
Ok, I sent the email with my publisher ID and a screenshot
You don't seem to have any featured content yet. That could be the problem.
I think you should send another email back to the team and tell them that you don't have featured content yet. I know that AdSense looks at your subdomain to approve it and, right now, there's nothing there on which to show ads. I think that could be a clue.
Well, I do have a hub published... does that matter?
It's not featured which means it's got a NoIndex in the code which means that Google can't crawl it. You're asking Google to approve displaying ads on a subdomain with no content. I doubt they will do that.
Well, I see what you mean, but I already have an established account, and everything goes through on the google end (it even shows it on my google adsense account), its just when it sends me back to hubpages with the token is when everything just stops.. Matthew could that possibly be the problem?
Send Matthew an email. He's not always looking on the Forum.
My article is featured now.. still same problem....
Yes, I completed all those steps, and I went back to check, it still says it needs to be set up as if I never did anything, I try to go through it again, still with the blank page
----------------I already have a Google AdSense Publisher ID
If you already have a Google AdSense Publisher ID, adding it to HubPages is easy.
I have gotten through all these steps, when it asks for permission, I selected yes, it say it is directing me back to hubpages, when it does so, I get a blank page where the URL looks like this
" https://hubpages.com/my/earnings/affili … <random numbers and letters>"
but it doesnt lead anywhere and nothing happens, I still show as having to link the account.. I've had this adsense account for years
Matthew Meyer works at HubPages and he's the one to help you with this. You'll get there!
It does, let me try disabling access then trying to set it up again...

Well, that’s nice, very nice. I haven’t got a clue of what I did wrong. And I have no idea...

On browsing the forum, I have become aware that we can't earn on HubPages without AdSense. This is a grim realization for me.I have 29 featured hubs that are generally considered to be of reasonable quality. I applied for an AdSense account over a year ago, and since then I've had nothing. When I...

Since 2010, I've been accumulating pennies in my Google Adsense account, waiting for the day I'd hit the $100 pay threshold. I checked it a couple of weeks ago, it was at $94 and change. Today, all the numbers are GONE!!! I see no evidence that it's been added to my HubPages ads...
