Suggestion:Underneath the Author Profile, add"Click here to read more"

In the top right corner of each hub is a tiny Avatar of the author and the number of followers. I do not think most people reading the page even notice that small picture. Hubpages should add "Click here to read more" underneath that photo, which leads to the author profile page.
Adding that "Click here" will not slow down load time, but may increase traffic. Why not?

Not a bad idea, although perhaps more people than you realize do look at the Avatar (a word absent from our childhood lexicon).  I do.  And perhaps instead of labeling the link "Read More" it could be labeled "Visit author's profile page."

Clicking either the avatar or the username will take you to the profile page.  Adding a third link right there to do the exact same thing seems a bit like  overkill.

Besides, hasn't the clicking of an avatar or username as a way of getting more info about that user been a web convention for well over a decade now?

You think that adding a few words underneath the picture is overkill?
No, clicking on the avatar or username is not something that everyone knows. It has been a decade for some people, not for everyone. There are people out there who are still new to the internet. Adding a few words might help traffic.

Maybe is it said: "Read more like this." and linked to the author's hubs in that group.
