I like to check hubtivities to see what's topical and interesting that I can comment on, and sometimes I go to the Forums to see what's been recently posted. Sometimes though comments have been posted to the forums but don't show up in the hubtivities log. Did I just miss it or are they just not synching?
When you are looking at the hubtivity page on the right near the top you can set what you want to see there. You can click on forum posts and see only forum posts. Usually if you comment on a forum thread, it will show up on the hubtivity page when womeone else comments on the same thread or a fan of yours comments.
Thanks SirDent- I never actually used it and its always on 'All" but okay I can be specific and select if I want to. Great! Shouldn't I get them anyway if its on All though...?
I checked it out more thorouvghly and you can edit your preferences. Not sure if you can get all forum posts, but you can get them from those you are a fan of and those who are a fan of you also. Just try it out and play around with it until you get it where you want.
Hey Louise, long time no see! I think you miss posts from people you're not a fan of. That's what I think, anyway. You'll only see posts from your friends. For hub comments, I think that works different, and you can see comments to the hubs you also commented on, regardless of who commented?
Hmmm, not entirely certain, maybe someone can confirm?

I sometimes post comments in the Sandpit forum. Yet, when looking through my recent 'All Hubtivity', I don't see any references to my Sandpit forum posts or anything from that forum. Yet if I go to the various Sandpit threads that I recently posted a comment in, there have been further...

I think forums are confusing for many new hubbers. Heck, I've been here 3 years and sometimes struggle with them, but it would seem to me that forum posts beyond a certain age should either be archived completely, or at least made to where comments are no longer being accepted. I am...

Hey Hubberville,Just curious- How do you surf the forums? Do you have multiple windows or tabs open at once? Or do you use feed to scope comments made? The main reason I ask is so to understand better about what's going on in the forums, as a whole.I'm working on a side project and could use some...

However, we don't want to make the same mistakes that Bubblews did.60% of what the forum ads actually pays sounds about right. And only Hubbers with 10 or more featured hubs would qualify. And only the first 10 posts of each HP day would qualify. And only posts without links would qualify. And only...

The count is off. I posted two separate posts to the same thread and the first one registered as my having made 330 posts, but so did the second one (which should have said 331 posts). As I said, it doesn't bother me in the slightest, just something I've noticed tonight. It's not...

Hey Cagsil.....congrats on hitting 30,000 forum posts in the last few minutes. Now what? I know there was a thread about this (http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/59581 ). Have things changed? Give us a status. For everyone else....congratulate him!
