When I log into HUBWeb I get popup ads from sex sites. This only happens with HUBWEB. Besides ending my relationship with HUBWEB is there any way to stop these disgusting ads from popping up?
Pop-up ads are not permitted on HubPages. In most cases they are a result of software on your computer, but there are occasionally rogue ads that make there way into the network.
Make sure to disable or uninstall all browser plugins or extensions and scan your machine for malware.
You may want to try another browser like Firefox as well.
Here are some other general browser troubleshooting steps as well.
