Photos stay hidden

Ok, so when my lenses came over some of my photos were hidden. I went through my Hubs and unchecked the box to unhide them. Clicked "done editing" and they were fine. A few days later when I went back in some of the same photos were hidden again. Some of these photos are actually mine, but I imported them using a link to my blog. Is this an issue where I have to prove ownership, or is it a bug? I had a suggestion that I email Hubpages and I will, but am curious if I'm the only one that's had this happen.

Are you sure you clicked the "save" button on the Photo Capsules after unhiding the images? If so, then it sounds like a bug. Can you check a few of the photos again? If the problem persists, please provide the Hub URL in this thread, along with a description of the affected photo(s). Thanks!

Haven't had this happen but on the ones I've edited, I've reimported quite a lot of photos and/or double-clicked the photo capsule in the organizational view (right-hand side) to make it half sized.  I read somewhere in the learning centre that the photos needed to be a certain width - I think it was 652 pixels wide - to be sufficient quality to display in a full width photo.  So it might be that your photos are insufficient quality.

Also, the photos need to link properly in the photo capsule so this means adding the url into the url box associated with the photo, and the licencing info into the caption, plus the source e.g. Wikimedia Commons into the source box.  If that hasn't been done, as far as I understand it, the photo remains hidden on HP.  They hid all photos that were linked with html links in Squidoo.

Photos must be a minimum of 520 pixels for full width and 260 pixels for half-width (shifted to the right of a text capsule.)

Linking a source URL and providing licensing information in photo capsules is optional, not required.  These are only required if you want your Hub to be a candidate for Hub of the Day.

For photos which are not showing on the Hub:
