Perhaps the iPhone 6 Bendgate excitement gives us all something to think about.
The Apple RF Exposure manual warns against placing an iPhone too close to the body. Anything less than 10mm exposes the user to untold risks. The ability to bend an iPhone therefore means that contact between user and iPhone is unacceptably close. In fact, apparent closeness to the bones is what causes the bend to happen.
Maybe we should now keep iPhones away from the pocket to avoid bending them and exposing ourselves to radiation.
