Well the "official" last payment has landed and the blue box is posted (as of today 13 October)
However I've still got money sitting on the dashboard........
I've sent a note in asking what's happening about this. I gather I'm not alone in having sales recorded after the lenses officially transferred - I've got the evidence downloaded.
Anybody know what's the best email for getting an answer to a query now the dust bunnies are invading the HQ office at squidoo?
Is the money on the dashboard for Squidoo also sitting in the hopper over here?
You can see the hopper amount on http://www.squidoo.com/stats/show
Lens earnings can not and will not transfer from Squidoo to HubPages.
Is the amount remaining on the dashboard more or less than one dollar?
I have $0.74 pending on my dashboard. I'm sure it will be donated to the Acumen Fund.
Yes - it's not much (less than $10) but I can clearly see it and my thinking is it must be royalties from Amazon sales.
I can also see a record of sales occurring AFTER 8th September -according to the dates on the sales tab - which was the date my lenses transferred to HubPages.
I know precisely which lenses it relates to.
I could let it go but it's the principle of the thing. Plus I want to raise awareness for others because for some people it might be a significant amount.
I know other people have recorded sales after the transfer date
Also if it's being donated to charity I'd rather I got to choose which charity! It is my money!
Well, well, well
Here's another email - making my third final payment!
"Note from Squidoo LLC:One more payday from Squidoo! A handful of lensmasters (including you) had earnings in early October. So here is a payment to cover that. Good luck in your work. We hope you'll pay it forward. Hugs from the Squids."
Now HOW on earth did I possibly have earnings in October? All my lenses transferred to HubPages on 8th September!
I think it's the difference between order placed and order delivered.
I always wondered how they were going to tackle orders before publication for books...........
I think this could go on for some time.
Despite having had three payments for August, September and October I still have more than $10 outstanding on my dashboard (and some of it relates to orders which are dated October on my royalties dashboard). This has popped up in the few days SINCE the last payment.
I'm beginning to think think Corey might be winding things up and paying over sums due until the end of this month.
Which when you think about it is kind of logical. After all they always paid over 2 months after income was accrued so logically, it occurs to me that to clear all outstanding liabilities to creditors (ie us) it might well be the end of October or the beginning of November before the accounts are finalised.
I've written direct to Corey to ask him for my outstanding balance. However I've also said I'm willing to wait to see whether any more accrues before he makes a final payment.
I've now had a reply from Corey and this is it
"Hi Katherine,
Thanks to your tip, Gil discovered that there were a handful of lenses which weren't included in the recent payouts.
It wasn't really a bug -- our payment process worked as designed. The issue was due to the fact that some lenses fell out of the qualified payrank tiers, due to no traffic/engagement following the transfer to Hubpages. That means they weren't included in the payout.
The payment process has been re-run with a fix to correct this problem. So you'll be paid for earnings for those lenses, as well the handful of people who were also impacted by this issue. That payment will be sent later today.
We are no longer receiving royalties from partners other than royalties already due us (which we've pre-paid to LMs), so this will be the last payment we issue. The Squidoo servers will be going offline in the next few days... most likely on Monday.
Thanks for pointing this out. We're glad it was caught so we could make it right.
Best of luck to you in the future.
Corey
Thing is my lenses which still have money sitting on them were all in the top two tiers so not quite sure why a completely different problem has also been identified.
Anyway - some of us are getting another payment!
NOTE ALSO THAT COREY SAYS THE SERVERS ARE PROBABLY SHUTTING DOWN ON MONDAY.
I can't see the quotation from the letter but it's there and I'm certainly not typing it out!
I've put it into an html editor and converted it to plain text and still it won't show up.
Any suggestions?
Later - I gave up trying to fit the proper quotation and converted it to italics!
Anybody know why the code for quotations does not work?

According to Paul Deeds' forum post, transfers of articles on Squidoo are beginning today. Has anyone had their account transferred yet? If so, how did it go?http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/123836? … ost2621573

Squidoo seems to have died twiceThis is an absolutely fascinating hub http://hubpages.com/community/Google-vs-the-Hub-Pages if you have a penchant for analysing numbers. It records the number of hubs and followers on a daily basis since September 9th 2012.In September 2014, the import of Squidoo...

Did anyone else not get their September payout from Squidoo? We were told that they would be combined with October. They were not.

Without a doubt HP and Squidoo are large competitors, and both could learn a thing or two from each other. Since I didn't find a good debat on this topic on the web I will try to start one.I believe that HP has a lot to learn from Squidoo, and I mean Hubbers as well as Staff. Since most hubbers...
