I appreciate the opportunity to meet the editors. Thank you for this. Is there any way you can add a link on the blog back to HubPages? It seems strange to me that there isn't a link to the home page.
As far as I can see the Hubpro editors have not published any hubs. Surely this is necessary to established credibility for changing hubs to improve them. IMO
Betty seems like a great person, and I really appreciate the interview with her. What I would have liked to see, however was a list of published works, a list of editing credits (particularly hubs she edited), etc.
I love dogs too, and always happy to meet another crazy dog person, but...that doesn't mean she's qualified to work on my area of expertise.
One thing that might help is area of expertise. Besides being a lawyer and dog person, what areas is she qualified to make suggestions in?
So, no actual editing experience? I hate to be a grinch but I has assumed the editors were experienced hubstaff who knew what made a hub successful from direct experience. If not, well, I am going to turn that option off on the suspicion that I know more about that very particular subject than they do. (And if having degrees, having marked tertiary student papers, and having freelanced is a qualification--I have all of that myself). She seems lovely, but... well.
To be fair I don't believe they had said she doesn't have editing experience...they just left it out.
I'm sure she's a sweet lady, but I probably have more editing experience than she does. And if my credentials were counted as doctorates, I'd own 3 or 4.

Hi friends, the new editors have completed their bios and you can now stop by the About Team page and meet them. You'll find their bios at the bottom. They're doing amazing in their training so far and should be up to speed soon. We are thrilled to be growing the team and increasing our capacity to...

This is getting silly. The last few Hubs I updated had all links to other Hubs snipped, even though these links were (a) on the same topic (b) helpful to the reader and (c) pointing to the same niche site. I really try to understand why Amazon links are removed, and I get why links to other sites...

I've just sent some hours reading the feedback on hubpro editors as I received an email saying that I had been selected for hubpro. I also read the blurb of one of the editors that had been posted to the thread. Lady doesn't have correct flow, and I would be very hesitant to have anyone who writes...

I've just received an email announcing that I have been invited to participate in HubPro Premium. I'm a bit taken aback and more than a little leery. I'm taken aback because I have been one of those fortunate ones whose hubs are moved automatically after publication to the niche sites...

I just had a nightmare experience with HubPro. Worst was that they published their changes before I had a chance to see them. I submitted my most popular garden pest hub to Dengarden. All of my garden pest hubs are written in an idiosyncratic style that is a reflection of my...
