I attempted several times to add an Amazon product using a ASIN to this hub: http://colorfulone.hubpages.com/hub/Chickadee-Haiku

What happens when I hit SAVE: only the title of the capsule shows.
(The product and description do not show.)

I would like to be able to recommend the camera I used for the macro photography images on the hub.

In most cases, this is related to ad-blocking software.
      http://hubpages.com/faq/#product-capsule-missing

Make sure to disable any browser extensions and ad-blocking software.
Then clear your browser cache and restart your computer.
You an try another browser like Firefox or Opera as well.

Let us know if the issue persists.

Thank you, Matt. I do not use ad-blocking.

I took Linda's suggestion and found the same product, but a different ASIN.
        That worked!

colorfulone:  Go to your Amazon Associate account page.  Put the ASIN of product you want to use for your hub to see if you can get the link to it or not.  This may be the issue:  I have spoken to Amazon.  Some merchants for some reason or another are not allowing potential customers be taken directly to their product page. Therefore, you cannot get the link for it, you can't do anything except choose another product.  The little message that comes up at the Amazon Associate page does not come up on the platforms like HP and others.

Thank you for that info, Linda.
Really odd that some merchants are doing that.

Good for you colorfulone.  I have found ASIN's have changed but merchant didn't do an update even though product page is still live. I copy name of product used on my account page instead of ASIN and get it that way too unless merchant has done something goofy.

Linda, it is worth bumping this thread just to let other hubbers know about it.

    Thanks again.
