Personally, I think the Salon article from 2014 still sets the standard for coverage from the journalistic angle, and I don't think personal stories are really going to have impact unless they are from employees. Or I guess it's really ex-employees...
Thanks for the link to the Salon article. I did not think it was possible to despise Amazon more; now I do.
I was thinking more in terms of an article on the pluses and minuses of selling in the Amazon marketplace. They use similar methodologies in dealing with their vendors as they do with their employees.
I had a decent relationship with A for more than a decade. They decided to drop my state because of preemptory fears about sales tax issues (not implemented here, and possibly never will be). I have a family member who worked there during college. She is happy to have other employment now.
