I just noticed that when I look at my hubs (not in edit) way down at the bottom after 'more in this series' and before the comments, it says 'Recommended Hubs'. Below that phrase is a large empty space, because as far as I know they moved the recommended hubs' to the sidebar. However that title is still showing at the end of each hub.

      Hi Titia,

Your Recommended Hubs section is showing up normally for me. Are you still having this issue?

Sorry you are having trouble viewing the "Recommended Hubs" section.
I would check to see if you have an ad-blocker or browser extension that might be interfering with that content.

Some ISPs also block most of the ads on HubPages as well as the "Recommended Hubs" section. Suite Solutions is one ISP known to do this. If that's the case, there's no solution.

Thanks, could well be, I never see ads on my hubs.
I don't know where I can find if an ad-blocker is installed. I didn't do it myself, but could well be that FF did it for me.

Here is a link with info about disabling browser add-ons in Firefox so you can trouble shoot and determine which if any might be affecting the web content you see.

I don't think it's anything to do with your computer.
I just came across one of mine like yours.
I have corrected it when checking out the display options on the right-hand side I see I didn't have it in a group, (no Bio for it).
Now I have made a group for it and added a bio, also added some other hubs in the new group it has recommended hubs in it, (no large blank white space.
Maybe that is all you need to do to correct it, hope it works for you also Titia.

Elsie, I don't think it's that, because I've put all my hubs in different groups. The one above is in a group of five.

I went to check mine and there are hubs in the scrollbar under "recommended hubs" but they say "Powered by Google" at the top and on mouseover, the links are Google Adsense style links. Confused!

Adsense or whoever is spoofing recommended hubs - these are articles or links that probably have nothing to do with HP.  I noticed it tonight after posting a long awaited hub to my other account.

When I when back to that hub I thought I had fixed, it said, "Powered by Google" also, not "Recommended Hubs".
    I don't understand.

Why is it nothing? It may not be important that some parts of HP are blocked by some ISPs, but it isn't nothing. I've had to get used to HP being advertisement-free for me whether I want it to be or not.

HP could fix this problem by using code that doesn't make the "Recommended Hubs" section "read" like an advertisement to ad-blockers if it were important.
