I've just noticed that all the links that one puts on photos has disappeared. I used this feature as a link to provide further information to my stories. Without the link, the photos aren't much good. Have they been removed?
This is the new change on picture capsules implemented by HubPages as per their previous notifications. Now links will not appear to the users. Only visitors can see the links by clicking on ' i ' while hovering at the right hand top corner of the image. You can learn more details about this change at this link

Ugh. Thanks. Not sure how that is going to work, but okay.
We'll have to remember not to use royal blue in the background of our images! The "i" doesn't really stand out on dark images. Maybe if the "i" was in a filled circle of lighter colour, it would be a better idea?

Is it possible to add a feature to links within text and to the photos to opt to have the link open in a new window? This would allow the reader to stay on the original page. Bounce rates rise every time someone leaves a page before reading the entire article, for whatever reason. If relevant links...

Now, not before, when you place a link, you have a choice to click rel=nofollow so that search engines ignore it. So in future hubs that you write or if you want to go back and edit, do not check this box for links to your own hubs. Also do not do this for links where you want to help the site. But...
