I opted for the affiliate Amazon program quite sometime ago. Now I notice that my other Amazon account has been closed with this comment "This account is closed and will not generate referrals. Access to this site is for historical purposes only." This means I now cannot create new accounts.
If I were to opt out of this Hp ad program, I wonder whether my Amazon account can be reinstated. Any expert who can comment on this? Thanks.
Hubpages has zero direct influence over your Amazon account, that account has been closed by Amazon. In recent years Amazon has started closing accounts that are not generating referals. If you search through your email you may find the warning message they sent (possily in the spam bin).
The only way to try and reactivate that account is to contact Amazon directly.
They closed your account because you probably ignored the COPPA email they sent to you. It happened to me as well. You just have to reapply again.

*apologies if in the wrong sub-forum*It's a very very simple question. I'm not supposing the answer is equally simple. I'm kinda hoping that if an answer is forthcoming, no one is (HP team/hubbers) going to say 'if you don't like it you can pack up and go'. Enforcement coupled with high-handedness...

I had an Amazon Associates account which expired about three years ago. When I visit my HP accounts page, I see "Amazon account active." How can I solve this problem and delink my HP account from that Associates account that no longer exists?
