Are there ever times when the Comments module could be left completely off the Hub? If Google doesn't like an article, because of the contents in a comment, is there any advantage to having a Comments section in the article? What would the advantages be?
I have several hubs that have lots of interesting, useful and relevant comments. I think that type of comment adds a lot of value to the hub.
Even before this talk of Google not liking low quality comments, I have gone back to those hubs and deleted any that did not add to the conversation.
There were just so many meaningful comments, I didn't need the "Great Hub" comments. Of course I appreciated the support when those comments first came in, but they had already served their purpose.
Comments are a good thing. They add content to your hub. One just has to toss out the nefarious ones.
