I have been trying since almost a week to get my 4th hub featured...but it is not. I removed all links and products and have also added more content and images. I don't know what I have done wrong. Please help
One problem is tenses. This looks like the beginning of a novel:
In a land devoid of trees (trees were so rare in the area that a bush caused great excitement and was generally called a tree) and with little water, the blazing sun quickly became man's worse adversary
This looks like an article (and gives a reader a better idea of what is going on):
Kuwait is an arid land. Trees are so rare that even a bush can be a novelty, and is likely to be called a tree. With little water, the blazing sun quickly becomes human beings worse adversary.
You can read about tenses in the style guide. https://hubpageshelp.com/standards/Lear … iting-Tips
This is incorrect: The camel- a friend in times of adversary
You need 'adversity' not 'adversary'. Also, Americans do not use long dashes for whatever reason. You need -- not - .
I only read that far. I reckon you could make a good page with a little help from a copy editor.
Best of luck.
edit: 'worse' should be 'worst', I need editors too, lol
Thank you so much for your advice...I will apply it in my hub
I just realised that you have rephrased (barely) this page: http://www.windsor-brooke.com/History.htm
I should have checked.
You are likely to get banned for this kind of thing.

My daily earnings have dropped drastically -- WHY? Is it because HP has pulled ads on my hubs due to the "unfeatured" hubs, which are mostly poems? Are poems not worthy of being featured and...

Hi,I've got several hubs which have suddenly become un-featured "due to lack of engagement".On the one hand, fair enough, in that they haven't had a lot of traffic, if any, since they were transferred from...

Awhile back the team started unfeaturing articles due to lack of traffic. Many here think this is a bad idea, and I agree. Doing this upsets many writers and has nothing to do with quality or how Google...
