Legal photos...??

Did I read somewhere on here that it is okay to use pix from Amazon products, (not in an Amazon capsule; but just to use the photo), if you can't find what you need on any of the other sites?

I thought I saw info to that effect, a year or so back...

As long as you're advertising the product in some way on the page. That's as per the Amazon TOS

Ah, okay.  I can do that.
I can use an anchor text link, instead of an Amazon capsule; HP seems to prefer that, nowadays.

I am thinking of some things I have, that I could photo, but they are at least 20--35 years old, and the 'exact same thing' would no longer be available; only something very similar in purpose, if not appearance.  I guess that's okay with HP's requirement that you only 'advertise' things you have used and can recommend...

        I guess that works.

I hope you can click photos from local markets also and use them if those products are readily available there.

No, Venkatachari M, I don't believe those would be legal to use; they would be the property of the store owner.
