Is is ok to change to a pen name on your account? I have articles on niche, not sure if it changes anything as far as that goes. Just making sure it does not throw the proverbial "wrench in the works'' Hope everyone had a good weekend happy Monday fun day to all.
You can't change your user name without creating a new account on HubPages, but you can change what appears in the "Real Name" field of your profile (simply edit your profile and change the text in that section).
Hi Jesse, I am pretty sure you cannot change your pen name here. The only way is to open a new account so anything you already have on the niche sites and main site already will,still be under your original name/ pen name.
If I could get someone from the Team to clarify though, that would be terrific. Thanks.

When are pen names good?Is it wise to write one book with a pen name and then use the same pen name to write another book that is very far away from the topic you want really do want to be associated with?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using a pen name as a writer on HubPages (or as a writer in general)? Also, does using a pen name impact your ability to defend/claim your work if it's stolen?
