Hello Hubbers,
I had, long ago, sent my article https://hubpages.com/literature/Traveli … his-is-How to be considered for a niche site. It's been very long and I've not heard back from them. Recently, I made some changes to my article and it was re-edited by a moderator. I received an email that my article was snipped and will be featured soon. Will I have to wait till it gets featured to the site I've submitted? or do I have to re-submit the article for reconsideration? Currently, if I click on the 'Submit to...' button, it shows me that I can't submit since it is already being considered for the earlier referenced site. I'm a little lost and unaware of how things will resolve. If you can guide me a litlle, it'll be highly appreciated.
Thank you!
What Glen said is correct. Also, we're right in the middle of the holiday season right now, so I'm sure that is slowing things down a bit and also the team has been working on a variety of projects in an attempt to upgrade the site. So, it's likely that they are spending more time than usual working on those things and less working on edits.
Trihorus, you actually answered your own question. When you click the 'Submit to...' button on a hub that you already submitted, it tells you it is being considered for the niche sites which you previously submitted. That assures you that it is still in the queue.
Some niche sites take longer than others, depending on their backlog. Each site has specific editors assigned. Owlcation, for one, is very backed up at the moment. Based on the title of your hub, I assume you submitted to that one.
Thank you, Glenn. I've submitted my article quite long ago, and I've not heard anything since then. Since recently, quite yesterday I received the email, I was not sure of what I'd need to do next. I've submitted my article for exemplore.
If you have questions about it, you can send an email to team @ hubpages.com
I recently had two accepted on niche sites. I must've of applied two months ago at the request of Hubpages.

Has the process of kicking published articles up to the niche sites gone to sleep? I've been submitting reworked old articles once every two weeks for some time. Usually, they get boosted up in a few days, but the process seems to have come to a halt over the last month. I've got one article in...

I have submitted 4 hubs to nich sites and not heard back anything yet. Do they tell you something through notifications or are you expected to find it in your emails?

It would be very helpful if the team would place some sort of small mark next to articles or above them to show writers that they are ready, time wise, to be submitted to a niche site. Otherwise, we have to keep a chart of some sort, which is very time consuming to do, especially if we have...

I understand there's no reason to submit new articles to niche sites because staff get to those first, but I'm debating whether to go through my old articles to submit them. Is this something anyone here does with success?

A minor thing, but some sort of notification to announce that the 14 day interval in-between submitting to niche sites has passed would be nice; it could be as little as a note on top of the "my account" page. To my knowledge, nothing of this nature yet exists. It would also be cool to...

In the past, I've had many articles that I submitted to niche sites accepted, but they ended up being published on a different niche site to the one that I suggested. This happened so many times that I had begun to believe (wrongly) that I might be immune to the dreaded "site mismatch"...
