thanks laura. i appreciate that. that was actually the hardest hub, I ever had to write to be honest. However, i'm glad you liked it though.
I also wrote a hub on getting laid off and I also found it more difficult to write about myself as opposed to other people's problems or just interesting informative hubs. It is more difficult when it becomes personal
Sometimes, when writers try to write, they begin writing, without wrapping their minds around the whole topic. Then, when it becomes personal.....it jams them up.
Because, then it gets into whether or not you want to reveal that part of your life? I know, I recently wrote a hub about the earlier part of my life, explaining the absent nature of my dad.
It was difficult to write, because of the scattered thoughts I have. It was very personal for me to bring forth what's written. But, I was able to because I accepted life and whatever it wants to bring my direction.
Also, on another note, once you make that transition of personal openness, it floods your minds with all new things to write about.You're Welcome.
