How long is the longest hub you've ever written?
Does the length significantly increase hub score?
My longest hub is around 2,200 words, but I don't think it makes a difference to hubscore in itself. The best hubs tend to be between 800 - 1500 words in length and well optimized for keywords/keyphrases, as well as contain info that people want to read. Traffic to your hub both internal and external has more bearing on hubscore than length.
You want to keep your hub under 1500 words because that's how long the average person's attention span lasts while searching the internet. I know I always check to see how long it is before I start reading it because if it's too long I can find something shorter that will give me the same information.
So keep your hubs short and to the point but relevant and more people will read them.
I know this doesn't really answer the question but I figure it goes along with it.

All of us, as writers, have put together some difficult pieces. What was the most difficult piece you've ever written? I would say that mine would have been regarding security of VPS's. I want to see what kind of crazy topics y'all have had the courage to dive into!

Every hub that I have posted has had the hubscore drop significantly today. One hub lost 10 points and they have all lost at least 2 points. Why would all my hubs drop so significantly at the same time? My hub visits have also dropped significantly since Friday.
