If I do a hub on my topic and then use a link capsule for all my ezine articles will that help or deter with backlinks to the articles
The links will only help if you are linking to articles relevant to your topic. HP has is a PR6 site so our links hold a lot of weight. If you need more help on this, check out some of my hubs on the topic or do a hub search for backlinks and traffic. HP is full of great advice.
Richard is right, there really is a lot of great information on here. You can do a site search for information. By the way, welcome to HubPages! I'm new myself, hope you are enjoying yourself here.
You can't have more then two links to the same domain per Hub, and linking consistently to the same domain across many of your Hubs is not appreciated either.
Thanks for all your answers. Of course Im looking to build traffic but I also dont want to do things wrong here so I will be definately using the search option.
Once again thanks

When I signed up for HubPages, things were done differently. I may have signed up with an amazon ID, that is now defunct. I am wondering now, if the new way references the ID I signed up with; unfortunately I can see no way to check. Can someone provide me insight on this please?

I've been doing quite a lot of backlinking recently. Can anyone tell me why some sites sometimes award you with a backlink (that shows up in yahoo) and other times they don't? Can I go ahead and write hubs for the food contest and post them on HP as unpublished? Then I could just click "publish" on the right day for the topic. Also, how do I post a hub to the contest? Be kind - this is my first ever HP contest! And yes, I read the instructions. Thanks in advance...
