Is it ok to use youtube clips and photos off the web in my hubs??
I recently wrote a hub about the new film "Avatar", and used a youtube clip of the trailer and a picture of the cover that I got off the web. Is it ok to do that??
You can for sure use the youtube videos ( that is what the video capsules are for). Picture are another question. You need to eb careful that you do not violate and rules by using others property without their permission. The Youtube videos are different as they basically justa link to the original posting.
You can use youtube video clips as you are only sharing them by embedding it.

People are posting great videos on YouTube that have clearly professionally prepared music as part of the presentation. One man actually stated he did not own the music and that all attribution should go to the creator, etc...except for the fact that he did not prove he had permission nor did...

When updating my hubs to take out excess links and amazon capsules, I noticed that many Youtube videos are not visible. I realize some may have been pulled by the author, but it seems to be happening on just about all of my articles. Is there a bug? I hate to think I have to go back in an redo all...
