Can someone help a newbie please?
I am still "wet behind the ears" and am having problems understanding backlinking and how to maximize traffic. Can someone spell it out for me? Also, how do I get more traffic from search engines? If anyone has any tricks of the trade or good quality social sites that I could use...I would dearly appreciate it!!

Hi Christy - my own advice is to learn how to do keyword research before even thinking about social networking or backlinks. This is because targeting good keywords and keyphrases in your articles will be the number 1 thing that will bring search engine traffic to your pages.
