I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for buy my experiences have been great. Hubpages is a great place for me to hone my writing skills and find a ready audience. I'm not a polished writer by any stretch so it has been a good exercise for me. I've been a hubber for 11 months now but have written only 57 hubs. I find I write them in bunches with long periods of inactivity in between. I need to learn to write more consistently.
I've monetized my hubs but haven't really made much money. Most of it adsense and the rest is with Amazon. I'm just learning now how to draw traffic to my hubs so hopefully that will change. Writing more consistently will help with that too.
Best of luck to you on Hubpages! - Richard

Ok, so, on rare occasions, I hit 100 as a hubber score. I like to think it's because of my literary genius, but the truth is, it only proves that HubPages still hasn't figured out how to master it's search-engine appeasement algorithms well enough to exclude idiocy like the crap I write from...

Recently Paul Edmondson made a statement about ads which has caused some confusion. He has suggested that if you are using Amazon ads on a Hub, you should turn off other advertising. I can understand his reasoning, BUT it will backfire badly if you don't do it right. The theory is that...
