Does Adsense still pay for hits on hubs that are marked as duplicates?
I placed a hub that I wrote for a magazine some time ago. After I placed my hub it was marked as a duplicate. I did some digging around and found that the magazine has published archived articles online. The article gets more traffic than any other Hubs I've written and I am curious if I still get paid for hits on this Hub and whether having a duplicate affects my Hubsore? Maybe it's worth re-writing?
If the Hub is published, and is displaying AdSense ads, you should still be getting paid for clicks. Being flagged for duplicate content is a Hubpages warning whereas AdSense is maintained by Google. As far as affecting your Hub score, the duplicate content is probably having a negative impact as it is against the Hubpages terms of service and probably should be rewritten enough to get it past the duplicate content filter.

Why does Hubpages keep calling my hubs "Duplicates"?Why does Hubpages keep calling my hubs "Duplicates"? It is really frustrating to spend an hour or so typing a movie review and trying to make it perfect just to have it be deemed as a "Duplicate"???
